The Bishop Arts area of Dallas is known for it's unique, independently owned bars, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, theaters, boutique shops. The real estate developer Jim Lake Sr. played a major role revitalizing the area in the 1980s and coined the term "Bishop Arts District". In the 1920s and 1930s, the area was known for it's shops and warehouses. It was a popular trolley stop. In the 1970s, it became known more as an artistic area due to the proliferation of artists who decided to set up shop there.
Bishop Arts has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the last couple of years blending a lot of the old and new. People have flocked to the area due to the laid back vibe and great location. Between the old homes and buildings and their often outdated infrastructure, and so many new townhouses and apartment complexes being built, there is a good chance of having a water or fire issue. I was very cautious coming into this experience as the previous reconstruction company left me high and dry but I left extremely happy and impressed. We wish we had known about SERVPRO of Southwest Dallas then. They were fantastic to work with. They were knowledgeable, overcommunicated and had clean equipment that actually worked. We would highly recommend!
He (Shane) did a great job and made us feel comfortable. The customer service was great and he went above and beyond. He explained everything to us and what the issues were.
The team was on site shortly after calling to extract and place drying equipment after a fridge line malfunction. They were knowledgeable and courteous, highly recommended!
