WOW! Can you imagine walking into a 90,000 square foot commercial warehouse that is the resemblance of a beautiful light show due to the reflection of the water from the massive amount of water damage throughout the building? Upon seeing this myself I instantly thought about the illusion that the lighting actually was part of the flooring and décor of the massive warehouse.
Once I had quickly scanned the circumference of the building, and assessed the immediate need to have the flooded warehouse depleted of the water as quickly as possible.
Before the office was open the call came in that a valve had failed on a water pump, and the water had run all weekend filling the warehouse with water, the overflow winding like streams outside of the building after escaping through any outside access. The interior of the warehouse was now 90,000 square feet of water.
SERVPRO of Kershaw and Lancaster Counties responded and was onsite in less than an hour to start the water mitigation process. By the end of the day the reflection lighting on the floor had diminished as the water was extracted, and the final phases of the commercial water loss was in place.
