The day of the fire, our insurance company contracted with SERVPRO as part their claims process, to tarp the hole in our roof and board up the house. Doug Brookens and Doug Kristof from SERVPRO showed up after all the police, firemen, neighbors, and spectators were gone. Not only did they get the job done within 2 hours that day, they opened the door for what was to be an outstanding customer experience, delivering excellent workmanship every step of the way. We interviewed other restoration companies to rebuild our home, but were already sold with SERVPRO.
The SERVPRO team that came next were all accomplished professionals, focused on a quality product. From the initial estimator, Jason Stein, the construction project manager Kevin Moon, team member Art Barret and Financial manager Nate Hinders. All worked closely guiding us through the entire process of rebuilding our home. Kevin Moon maneuverd all the endless construction details, with comprehensive status updates, letting us know when and what was needed from our end, and consistently communicating with us on all aspects as they occurred. Nate Hinders was always “Freaky Fast” keeping us updated on the fiscal details engaged between the mortgage company, insurance company and us.
All this attention to the detail delivered an amazing finished product to us, our home.
We have nothing but thanks and recognition for everyone that was part of putting our home back in order. Everyone should be as proud of the jobs they did, as we are grateful.
Really thankful for SERVPRO after this past week. My family and I relocated from Scottsdale, AZ back to OH. Upon arriving at our new house it was discovered a small fire had occurred inside our moving truck. A few of our things were destroyed from the actual fire, but everything we owned was smoke damaged/covered in soot. Being 8 months pregnant, I was pretty upset to say the least and the smell made me ill.
SERVPRO was extremely fast to respond and is working directly with our homeowners insurance(Travelers). Ron and his whole crew were fabulous. It took them 2 days to get everything sorted - they had to go through all of our belongings from a 4 bedroom house in boxes.
Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without them or our claims adjuster through this whole mess. I would highly recommend them if you need help for fire restoration/cleaning.
