Hilliard, OH is a suburb of Columbus located in Norwich Township. Hilliard is named after a man named John R. Hilliard, who purchased 10 acres of farmland in 1852. The town was originally called Hilliard’s Station because it grew around the railroad route and stations of the Piqua and Indiana Railroad.
