The city was incorporated as a village in 1891 and then re-incorporated as a city in 1921. Royal Oak was developed as a suburb of Detroit in the early 20th century, following Detroit's booming growth as a result of industrialization and its auto industry. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 57,236. the city in size is approximately 11.83 miles. This city is located along the famous Woodward Corridor, and Interstate 75 and Interstate 696 also pass through the City of Royal Oak. Both times, the water saturated the same area and leaked through the basement ceiling. The fact that the floor survived two floods is a testament to SERVPRO's restoration expertise and customer care. I cannot say enough great things about Mike B, Eric, Hugh, Carrie and everyone else that helped me. From the first phone call to the final walk through, they were kind, communicative and professional every step the way. They also made the insurance claim process a breeze.
