What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. SERVPRO of Glenview was fast and prepared to help with my flooded basement. It was my 2nd time dealing with this issue, and I can honestly say I wish I dealt with SERVPRO of Glenview my first go around. i highly recommend them to anyone dealing with a flooded basement!

We had a couple pipes burst in our family's lakehouse basement in Delavan, WI (it was like a fire hose spraying into the basement, likely for weeks before we discovered it!). Needless to say, the water and mold damage was immense.
We called Jeff, and his team was up there the next day to assess the damage and gave us a comprehensive clean-up plan. He and his team were very patient with us, as this was a devastating loss for our family, and walked us through each step of process -- always willing to spend time to explain how they would handle things. They provided us regular updates, showing us pictures, since we lived an hour away from the lakehouse, and kept us well-informed through every step of the process.
They worked quickly and effectively and the clean-up that they did was incredible. We were so grateful that they were willing to work an hour+ away from Glenview -- it was well worth it!
