Lynden Fire Damage and Water Damage Cleanup
Lynden saw its first settlers in 1870 and was incorporated as a city in 1893. Initially, logging was the primary industry; however, once the land was cleared, farming became the main industry, as well as dairy, poultry, and fruit farming, including raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries. The Lynden Farmers Day Parade is set for Saturday, June 7th, beginning at 10:30 am. Watch an eclectic mix of trucks, horses, cars, bands, and tractors. The parade has been running since the early 1900s. The city celebrates the Northwest Raspberry Festival on July 18 and 19. The international Horse Plowing Match is scheduled for May 17th. Lynden City Council Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, beginning at 7 pm, at the City Hall Annex in Lynden. The Lynden Library, which is part of the Whatcom County Library system, hosts many events every month. The Lego Club is scheduled for kids on April 21st, 2025, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Lynden meeting room. There is a Teen Craft Hour on the same day, held from 4 to 5 pm in the Lynden conference room.

This gratitude also extends to Matt DeSpain and SERVPRO for which they have provided their services to clean and restore smoke and water damaged clothing items to their usable state that would have been costly to do. Matt personally went out of his way to pick up two trash bag quantities of clothing items and returned and restored in two nicely packed boxes. I understand this service was graciously extended to other tenants as well. We are fortunate to have organizations such as these that step up to help the community that finds itself in unfortunate circumstances such as this.

SERVPRO helped my mom when she had a water heater failure. They were quickly at her house cleaning up water and drying her floors.
With a recent water leak, they were out the same day I called. Everyone was extremely nice and respectful.
Matt DT is awesome & their crew is great. Nobody wants to call this number, but they're a savior when you need them.
I called SERVPRO of Bellingham this morning with a flooded carpet in the building of the non-profit I volunteer at. They were very responsive, sending out a hard working team, Ricky and Chris, who extracted the water from that carpet. Then the owner generously provided fans and humidifiers to make sure the clean up was complete. This experience with SERVPRO has been great. I recommend them to anyone in need.
