Located in the heart of the state, surrounding our capital city of Richmond, Henrico is a county filled with hundreds of years of our state’s history. Named after the settlement of Henricus, it was first incorporated as the city of Henrico and then as Henrico shire in 1634. Celebrating its 400th anniversary in 2011, Henrico is one of the oldest counties in the United States. There are many notable historical figures and events that make up Henrico’s tumultuous history, such as the home of John Rolfe and Pocahontas, the Varina Farms Plantation, as well as having the most civil war battlefields in the United States. While rich in history, Henrico is also home to “America’s Premier Short Track” the Richmond Raceway, hosting two of the four NASCAR races that come to the state of Virginia. In addition to the raceway, Henrico is adjacent to the second-longest river in the state, the James River, which flows from the Appalachian Mountains, through the state’s capital of Richmond, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. I wanted to pass along that one of your employees, Stewart, was probably the most courteous outside contractor that has ever worked in this building. He had a resident come talk to him about his apartment repairs and he took the time to answer all of his questions about what was going on and was so respectful and helpful to all of us while he was here. He went out of his way to fill me in whenever they were headed out for the day and checked with me to make sure I was happy with his work once he completed the projects. As I am sure you are aware, it is rare to see such great customer service nowadays so I wanted to share our experience.

He walked us through every step piece by piece and made us feel so comfortable about the work that needs to be done. Phil is incredibly professional and one of the kindest service people I've had the privilege to meet. I'm very happy that they will be doing the job at my house, and I feel absolutely confident that it will be 100% to my satisfaction. It's so nice to find somebody who cares so much about us.
