About Volente, TX
Volente is located in Travis County, Texas. It is a small village on the northern shore of Lake Travis, that has a population of around 520 as of 2010. The area is 2.1 total square miles, all of it being land.

History of Volente
The post office was initially established in 1886, but the town was not officially incorporated until 2003. The first postmaster was Andrew J. Stanford.
