Both towns have discussed a name change, however neither have received enough votes in favor to do so. Reno is known to be an ‘up and coming’ community - but they still do not have their own independent school district. The community does however partner with two neighboring school districts, Springtown ISD, and Azle ISD to ensure the children are getting adequate education.
