Academy, Texas is a small town with approximately one thousand people. It has a high school, church, post office and small business. The climate in Academy is ideal because all four seasons are present. A Bit of History of Academy
A fort built in 1836 resided in now Academy, Texas, but was once called Fort Griffin. Many early settlers gathered and lived near Fort Griffin. A railroad was created in town around 1880. A post office was created in town in 1886. The town of Academy was founded in 1892 when the first structure was built. It is known for its farming and oil production industries. The towns of Little River and Academy merged in 1989 to create one giant town.

SERVPRO Temple/Belton just completed the restoration and rebuild of part of our kitchen/living room. It involved tear out, dry out, electrical, carpentry, painting, staining, and rock refinishing. They arrived the same day they were called and moved forward without interruption. So efficient! And the workmanship was excellent. All of the men that worked on our project were timely, friendly, professional and so easy to work with. We would highly recommend SERVPRO Temple/Belton to everyone.
