Petersburg is a small town located on the county line between Lincoln and Marshall counties in Tennessee. With the majority of the town centered around the town square, which carries main roads to all of the major surrounding towns in Lincoln, Marshall, and Bedford counties. Tennessee State Road 130 connects Shelbyville in Bedford county to the northeast, and intersects with Tennessee State Road 129 which connects Lynchburg to the east, and Cornersville to the west. Tennessee State Road 431 also passes through.
With a total area of less than half a mile (0.9 square miles), Petersburg is a typical southern small town. With the town hall and fire department sitting side by side on the square, Petersburg is the picture of southern charm. With that charm in mind, you should always be prepared for disaster to strike. I had a tree go through my roof in the middle of a storm and after calling SERVPRO, they were at my house within a couple hours to start removing the water and water damaged items. Not only was the job completed, every person I worked with was professional and nice and very accommodating to My circumstances. Without a doubt I can say they are honest and extremely professional. I would recommend them a thousand times over.
