Orangeburg has a festival every year known as the festival of roses. It is held the weekend before Mother's Day each year to celebrate the blooming of the city's roses. Finally the Grand American Coon Hunt. This family friendly event happens the beginning of each year in Orangeburg South Carolina. It started in 1966 and is presented by The American Cooner Magazine. This nationally known event features skilled hounds from all over the country. This event takes place at the Orangeburg County's fairgrounds, where you can shop with vendors, catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
