Donalds Cleanup and Restoration

Donalds SC is located in Abbeville County and according to the census bureau the town has a total area of .85 sq miles. The town was founded by the early Scotch-Irish settlers in 1763 and it was the distinguished Donald's family of Ulster Scots who eventually lent their name to the town. Prior to being named Donalds it was known as " Boonesborough Township" as the town was originally called after Governor Thomas Boone. In terms of density it is home to approximately 2,000 full time residents but in the spring and summer months its population increases as people are drawn to the areas diverse geography, large lakes and abundance of parks to enjoy the outdoors.
