All of three of these things have one thing in common, they are all part of Shohola, a Pennsylvania township. The community it's also known for it's four lakes and acres of forest. The village of Shohola was settled in 1772. The area was made up of a few farms until the Erie Railroad came in 1848, with this came the development of vacation homes as well as more permanent residents. The township was legally formed in 1852. Residents and visitors can enjoy the multi-tier falls flowing from Shohola Creek on an 8.2-mile loop hiking trail. Shohola resident Howard Ellsworth "Smoky Joe" Wood was a legendary Major League baseball player. He started his big league career with the Boston Red Sox in 1908 and his career ended the Cleveland Indians in 1922. He went on to manage the Yale Baseball team.

Unfortunately, my husband and I were on the West Coast and were in a bit of a panic. SERVPRO went out the next day bright and early and got to work! Not only did they have some of the most challenging conditions to work in, but they had to be able to communicate what was going on via phone calls and photos. Eddie did such an incredibly thorough job and even checked out other parts of the house before he wrapped up the job. (Just to make sure there weren't other damaged areas) I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone in a water crisis!
