Alburtis is a small borough in Lehigh County. It is a nearby suburb of Allentown, the third-largest city in Pennsylvania. The mostly residential community spans 0.7 square miles and has a population of around 2,500 people.
Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Lehigh Valley was a major producer of anthracite coal and the site of several major innovations that contributed to the American Industrial Revolution. The East Pennsylvania Branch of the Philadelphia and Reading Railway was completed in 1859, providing transport for passengers and freight. Alburtis was named after Edward K. Alburtis, a civil engineer responsible for the construction of the railroad. The Borough was officially incorporated on May 9, 1913, by the merger of two villages, Alburtis and Lock Ridge.
Today, Alburtis is a lively residential area with a community center, pool, park, and several baseball fields. Lock Ridge Park is a beautiful local park built around a historic iron ore blast furnace built in 1868. Swabia Creek flows through the park and is home to a variety of wildlife.

They informed us to not worry and everything was taken care of within a few days!

SERVPRO came out quickly and took care of the issue without causing a scene. Thanks to them we were only shut down for 2 hours. This could have been a lot worse, and I am very thankful for the great work provided from SERVPRO.
