Elora is a community in the township of Centre Wellington, Ontario, Canada. It is well known for its 19th-century limestone architecture and the geographically significant Elora Gorge. Many tourists visit Elora on day trips, attracted by the historic nature of the town or the Grand River Raceway with horse racing and slot machines. It has many small shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and art galleries which are often in buildings built during the mid 19th century. The Gorge Cinema is Canada's oldest continuously running repertory theatre and the annual Elora Festival & Singers event is particularly popular. The Elora Gorge and Conservation Area is at the edge of town and offers canoeing, paddleboat rentals, hiking, camp-grounds, fishing and picnicking. Some of the limestone cliffs are 12 metres high and the limestone Elora Quarry is a popular swimming spot in the summer. Very fast, professional, and thorough cleanup of our cold cellar. Previous home owners had turned it into a closet complete with drywall, insulation, and carpet…then there was a bad storm and it flooded. A cold cellar is not a closet!! The SERVPRO team came in and removed the mouldy drywall and cleaned the concrete. I am very happy and relieved it is done.
