Canfield was established over 220 years ago in the year of 1798, and was formerly known as “Campfield.” Since the erection of the city it has grown from a few hundred people to almost 8,000 according to the latest 2020 census. The city of Canfield is most widely known for their labor day celebration, that celebration is no other than the Canfield Fair! The fair started all the way back in 1846, that's right, 50 years before Canfield was officially a city. Since then the fair has only continued to grow into the beloved summer tradition that it is for the residents of the Valley and beyond. The Canfield Fair truly has something for everyone, whether that be the rides, demolition derbies, 4-H events and other competitions, unbelievable concerts, or SERVPRO Team Dobson favorite, the unbelievable food options.  

For you avid golfers, Canfield is also home to the scenic Kensington Golf Club, Kensingtons design will leave you speechless and leave you asking “when are we playing that again?” Canfield has an amazing tribute to all American veterans. The War Vet Museum houses over 40,000 artifacts from the Revolutionary War to the modern day war on terror. There are three floors and a basement full of history honoring veterans and teaching about America's past.
