Pembroke is located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Its history started in 1725 when Captain John Lovewell and his bold band of Indian fighters recruited from the towns surrounding Dunstable, Massachusetts, drove out the Native Americans from what is now New Hampshire. The town was incorporated in 1759.

He told me what had to be done and he had his crew come in and do it. They did a wonderful job and cleaned everything up. What was the biggest shock to me was I was not charged for this work.
