Valparaiso was incorporated as a town in July 1880. Valparaiso is derived from a Spanish name meaning “ vale of paradise.” A total of 81 historical tornado events that have happened in Valparaiso have been recorded to be magnitude of 2 or above. Charles C. White built a flour Mill on the banks of Oak Creek in the Southwest corner of Valparaiso in 1878. At the time it was considered one of the largest enterprises in the county. Inside it was furnished with one of the best water power systems of its capacity in the state of Nebraska.
With Valparaiso being a very small town there aren't many things to do. Vineyards are their many attractions in Valparaiso. With 4 different vineyards spread out you’ll have some to choose from. Vintage Cork is one of the vineyards. With homegrown wine people love to go there and do their tastings.

Lathe and the team did a great job with my home. We just thought a nice deep spring cleaning was needed we have 3 kids and a dog so why not have a clean. They did a great job of making sure that did not have to happen. They gave me a run down of the treatment process. My basement looked great after they were done. So, if anything happens again I'm going to give them a call.
Kudos to the SERVPRO Omaha Southwest group that came to my home 9/17. This is the emergency crew that came to Milwaukee to help remove water from many flooded basements and buildings. Their timely help saved my lower level from being destroyed. I am so grateful for their service!! SERVPRO is the BEST!! Thank you Lathe for your team and your kind help getting things done. I am the property coordinator for a property in Elkhorn. We had water intrusion in the basement and black mold. I first contacted another company, and was very disappointed with the service we received. The following week I contacted SERVPRO.
