Welcome to Wallace! Home of the Carolina Strawberry Festival and Boney Mill Pond, Wallace is full of rich history and exciting things to do. Wallace is also home to the Atlantic Coastline railroad. Its historic train depot has been converted to a museum where children can visit the hands-on experience known as the Learning Station. Train enthusiasts ranging from all ages can even host their own birthday party there!
The town of Wallace is nestled along the banks of the Black River and is less than 50 miles from the NC coast so residents are very familiar with significant rainfall, storm damage and flooding.
