Simultaneously receiving its name “Stanfield” after one of the lead engineers who helped in the completion of the railway through present day Stanfield. The railroad brought many visitors to the town, thus, forming a community and allowing people to start their roots in a place full of new beginnings. There are approximately ten churches within the town limits, all dating back to the early/mid 1900s. Along with the schools, churches, and the railway, many ‘ma and pa’ shopping centers are still up and running.
