Known as the “Garden Spot of the World”, Rural Hall, North Carolina, is a community with a proud past and a bright future. Located in Northern Forsyth County, the community can be traced to a trapper’s cabin built 1740s. That log structure still stands as part of and 18th-century home. Rural Hall first provided municipal services in 1953, and on June 1, 1974, the town became incorporated as a municipality. It has just over 3,000 residents today and is well positioned for future growth.
Covington Memorial Park is a multi-use facility in the area. It has sports fields, multi-use courts, walking trails, and even a playground that the community uses. In addition, Rural Hall is now the operation center of the Yadkin Valley Railroad. The Rural Hall Depot can be found on the National Register of Historic Places.
