Columbia is a small city located in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. It is the county seat, inshore of the beautiful and famous Outer Banks. Columbia is as aquatic a town as it gets, being surrounded by the Albermarle sound on the north, the Alligator River to the east, and the Scuppernong River to the west. and is home to a population of just over 6,000 people.
