The history of Lake St. Louis, Missouri.

Lake St. Louis was established as a private resort community, which was originally planned by Ellis Ellerman and Ira Nathan in January 1961. The location of the city was decided by R. T. Crow, one of the investors of the "Lake Saint Louis" project. The city was established in April 1967 and the first residents of the city were the Neal family. They moved to the city in January 1968. In 1975, it was incorporated as Harbor Town. Later in 1977, it was reincorporated as the City of Lake Saint Louis.
