Desloge, Missouri was founded by Firmin Desloge II. The city of Desloge was a prosperous mining town in the 1800s. When Firmin Desloge II died in 1930, he willed the original 47 acres of the hand-dug pits of the original lead mining operations to his family. His family donated that land for a park named Firmin Desloge Park and dedicated it to the mining families in the area. He even called us to give us the exact price to clean them since they were slightly larger than we described. They came back very clean and looked like new. I highly recommend them.
