Country Life Acres, Missouri is a small village in northwest St. Louis County. As of 2010, the population was 74. The village contains about 0.11 square miles of land. Country Life Acres is only a few minutes' drive into St. Louis. With a rural feel, there is also plenty to do and see close by.
St. Louis is known for many things-- The Cardinals, The Gateway Arch, the robust music scene, and much more. As the second largest city in the state, there is plenty of activities and attractions to keep any visitors and residents busy.
In Country Life Acres, Missouri, temperature fluctuations can be extreme. History of St. Louis
Prior to European settlement, this area was known as the regional center of Native American Mississippian culture. The city was founded on February 14, 1764 by Gilbert Antoine de St. Maxent, Pierre Laclede, and Auguste Choteau. These settlers named the area after Louis IX of France. Eventually, the land was purchased in the Louisiana purchase, in 1877, St. Louis officially drew its boundaries and separated from St. Louis County.
