Norwood Young America, also known as NYA to the locals, merged from Young America and Norwood into on in 1994. Since then, not a whole lot has changed! The merger was initiated by the Norwood Young America Chamber of Commerce who allowed two students from the University of Minnesota to do a study on the benefits. The 1993 study concluded that a merger would be ideal for both cities so here we are! Norwood Young America is now a growing community, rooted in small town values, where you can raise a family, where a business can thrive, and where you can experience loads of activity.

Our finished basement flooded - 2" of standing clean water. Travis and his team where courteous, efficient, hardworking and communicated well. The SERVPRO team showed up 30 minutes after I made the call, incredible! After they removed all damaged building parts, the also moved furniture etc. into a pod and used massive dehumidifiers and fans to dry it out. I don't think our basement has ever been this dry! Overall it was about a two week process start to finish. Thank you guys for your hard work! My neighbor recommended SERVPRO after soft response from other outfits - I am glad I followed her advice. I was completely satisfied. From start to finish, everyone was professional and very helpful with my schedule that kept changing. They were very accommodating.
I had water leakage from my water heater shut-off valve. Called my insurance company, they recommended SERVPRO to check it out. They were called and out to check withing 2-3 hours the same day. The guys explained everything thoroughly as to what they were going to do/doing. When I had questions, they were answered respectfully. The guys were very courteous and prompt. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
