Bowleys Quarters is one of the many areas that SERVPRO of Sparrows Point services. It is a town that is built around the water, named after its founder Daniel Bowley, who was a sea captain. This land was purchased in the mid-1700s and is continuing to blossom today. During the height of the industrial boom, workers moved their families to Bowleys Quarter and made the short commute to Glen Martin (now Lockheed Martin) and Bethlehem Steel. The town is also famously known for its Drive in Movie theater, Bengies, which has been thriving since their opening in 1956. Bowleys Quarters has a large waterfront property space that has spectacular views. But with waterfront views come, waterfront issues. During Hurricane Isabel over 800 homes were affected whether it was destroyed or experienced major water damage. What did the people do during the aftermath of the storm? SERVPRO of Dundalk/Essex/Chase's on-site personnel were incredibly knowledgeable and clearly explained the cleaning and restoration process throughout the duration of my water damage claim.
