Rick Northen has been a SERVPRO Owner since 2013. With a strong background in business and sales, he applies his experience and expertise- leading his team to success in the restoration industry. His focus on customer service, team development, and operational excellence has been key to the company’s growth and success.
Outside of work, Rick enjoys hunting, spending time outdoors, and following sports. Go Dawgs!
Jansen Nix
Jansen Nix is the Director of Production for the Team Northen / Maddux. He has been with SERVPRO for three years and brings over 15 years of experience in the restoration industry. Jansen holds certifications in Water, Fire, Mold, and Biohazard remediation, giving him the expertise to lead complex projects with precision and care. At the top of his bucket list? To travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights—and someday own a hotdog cart, blending his love of adventure with a fun personal dream.
Nathan Norton
Nathan Norton is the VP of Operations for Team Northen / Maddux. With 10 years at SERVPRO and over 20 years of experience in construction and maintenance, Nathan brings unmatched expertise to restoration leadership. He holds prestigious certifications as an IICRC Master Water Restorer, Master Fire Restorer, Master Textile Restorer, and is also an IICRC Trauma/Crime Scene Technician. Having already accomplished most of his bucket list goals, Nathan now looks forward to the ultimate milestone—retirement.
Brent Maddux
Brent Maddux has been a SERVPRO Owner since May 2019. With a strong background in roofing, he transitioned into the restoration industry to expand his expertise and provide comprehensive solutions for property owners. His leadership is centered on delivering exceptional service, building strong teams, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of care during challenging times.
Outside of SERVPRO, Brent values time with his family and enjoys following a variety of sports. He will always be "for the A" and a Dawg at heart!
Melissa Lavender
Melissa Lavender is the Regional Administrative Director for the Team Northen / Maddux. She has been with SERVPRO for 9 years, bringing strong leadership and expertise in administration and operations. Melissa holds certifications in IICRC, WRT, and Xactimate, which equip her to support both teams and clients with precision and efficiency. At the top of her bucket list? To go on a cruise and enjoy some well-deserved time at sea.
Talena Grawburg
Talena Grawburg is the Director of Business Development for Team Northen/Maddux. With over 11 years of SERVPRO experience, she brings expertise and innovation to the industry and to our team. Talena believes in an “each one teach one” mentality- encouraging her team to spread knowledge and experience around the table for collective success. When she’s not working, you can find her doing yardwork or hitting the trails or with a fishing rod in hand. For work, and pleasure alike, Talena lives a life founded on faith and footwork.
Brittany Shields
Brittany Shields is the Customer Experience for team Northen Maddux. She has been with SERVPRO for over a year, and she has WRT and IICRC certifications. Her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies has aided her in working on multiple projects at a time and combining solutions for team success. In her free time, Brittany spends time with her cat, dog and 5 reptiles, as well as exploring new places and trying new foods. She aspires to continue her career success and leverage it in traveling the world along the way.
Alexa Baker
Alexa Baker serves on the Business Development team at SERVPRO, where she brings valuable experience from the property management and insurance industries. Since joining SERVPRO three months ago, Alexa has completed Business Development Training and has become actively involved with CAI.
With a strong background in customer service and a genuine passion for connecting with people, Alexa is dedicated to fostering relationships that support clients and the community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, relaxing by the pool, and has a lifelong dream of visiting Greece. She lives by her favorite guiding principle from John 15:12: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
Avery Self
Avery Self is the Restoration Manager at SERVPRO, bringing over 8 years of restoration experience and more than 3.5 years with the company. He holds multiple industry certifications, including WRT, TRC, FRC, Odor, CSD, and IICRC, equipping him with the expertise to lead restoration projects with precision and care.
Outside of work, Avery enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing. At the top of his bucket list is an elk hunt, reflecting his love for the outdoors. He also holds an Amateur HAM License, showcasing his dedication to continuous learning and unique skill development. Avery lives by the words: “Wisdom is knowing you know nothing.”
Carlos Rivero
Carlos Rivero is a Restoration Supervisor at SERVPRO, with experience in water damage, fire damage, cleanup, and restoration project growth. In his 1.4 years with the company, Carlos has earned his IICRC Water Damage certification and is recognized for his discipline, quick learning, and adaptability.
Outside of work, Carlos enjoys reading, watching English-language videos, and teaching. At the top of his bucket list is the goal to travel the world and use his success to help children and those in need. Guided by his favorite quote, “We are alive today, tomorrow we don’t know,” Carlos approaches both life and work with dedication and purpose.
Jose Gabriel Morrero Gomez
Jose Gabriel Morrero Gomez is a Restoration Technician at SERVPRO, bringing 1.6 years of restoration experience and currently in his fourth month with the company. While he has not yet pursued industry certifications, Jose is dedicated to growing his expertise and contributing to the success of each project.
In his free time, Jose values spending time with his family. At the top of his bucket list is the goal to be successful in life, a reflection of his drive and determination. Guided by his favorite quote, “One day per day,” Jose takes a focused and steady approach both personally and professionally.
Mario Martinez
Mario Martinez serves as a Restoration Manager at SERVPRO, bringing a career in restoration that has progressed step by step. He began as a helper, advanced to crew chief, later worked as a project manager, and now leads as a restoration manager—gaining valuable knowledge and expertise at every stage. With 2.1 years at SERVPRO, Mario holds certifications in WTR, FSRT, and OCT, strengthening his ability to oversee restoration projects with skill and precision.
Mario is also an active member of Freedom Venezuela and brings additional skills outside of restoration, including being a chef, native seller, amateur mechanic, and fluent in Papiamento, a Holland/Portuguese dialect. In his free time, he enjoys barbecuing, grilling, camping, and watching movies with his family. At the top of his bucket list is a commitment to continue learning new skills every year, both personally and professionally. Mario is guided by the principle: “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day after day.”
Miguel Angel Oglivie
Miguel Angel Oglivie is a Restoration Technician at SERVPRO, bringing valuable customer-focused experience and a strong commitment to delivering quality service. In his three months with the company, Miguel has already shown dedication to learning and contributing to restoration projects.
Alongside his role at SERVPRO, Miguel has additional skills in welding, carpentry, and stainless steel work, which highlight his craftsmanship and versatility. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and strives to achieve success in all aspects of his life. He is guided by the principle: “The time is a valuable thing.”
Raegen Carey
Raegen Carey is an Administrator at SERVPRO, bringing nearly five years of experience with the company, including four years of office and administrative support in restoration services. She holds certifications in WRT and IICRC, equipping her with both the technical knowledge and organizational expertise to support the team’s operations effectively.
With strong office and personnel skills, Raegen plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time being a mom. At the top of her bucket list is the goal to buy a house, reflecting her dedication to building a strong foundation for her family. She is guided by her favorite quote: “There is no place like home.”
Rafael Morrero
Rafael Morrero is a Restoration Technician at SERVPRO, specializing in demolition work. In his four months with the company, Rafael has shown himself to be a fast and dedicated learner, eager to build his expertise in restoration.
Outside of work, Rafael enjoys going to church and staying grounded in his faith. At the top of his bucket list is the goal to be successful, both personally and professionally. He is guided by his favorite quote: “God’s time is perfect.”
Sagi Cohen
Sagi Cohen is a Water Restoration Technician at SERVPRO, bringing hands-on experience in water restoration. In his first month with the company, Sagi has already begun applying his skills and training, which include WRT and ASD certifications.
Sagi is also active in the Chabad Synagogue and brings additional skills in locksmith work and basic electrical tasks. In his free time, he enjoys working out, hiking, and watching movies and TV shows. At the top of his bucket list is a vacation with his wife. He is guided by his favorite quote: “Be yourself, everyone else is taken.”
Brittany Narey
Brittany Narey has been with SERVPRO for 1 year, serving as a Customer Experience Specialist for the Global Team Northen / Maddux. In her role, she is dedicated to providing excellent support and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and professional. At the top of Brittany’s bucket list is to travel the USA in an RV, exploring new places and making unforgettable memories along the way.
