Lake Iamonia, FL is a large, subtropical prairie body of water found in North Leon County. It is a popular fishing spot and offers paddling and highly sought after wildlife spotting opportunities as well. Many Tallahassee locals use the Bull Headley Boat Ramp to make a fishing day even more enjoyable and take it above the traditional dockside experience. Lake Iamonia is located in the Red Hills Region and it is around 5757 acres in size- 7 miles long and 2 miles wide. The unique name comes from the Seminole Indian town that is located on the Ochlockonee River Banks. The lake is known to naturally empty itself during dry periods.
The bottom of the lake is kept clean by gracious volunteers, county and state support. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission joined hands with FSU students and the Leon County Parks and Recreation groups to plan continued service over the area. As a consequence, the area draws very intentional residents and businesses who prioritize preservation as a whole.

He communicated with me at every point through the process and helped us weather what was a true life crisis as an all-around good human being. (And he stayed calm when I wasn't.) He told me once "I think about your house every bit as much as you do." It was obvious in every way that he, in fact, did. Thank you Ken and SERVPRO (I'm going to invite him over after the house is all the way fixed.)
