Riverside is a small neighborhood located in greater Greenwich, Connecticut.  It is the portion of Greenwich that borders Stamford to the north, which brings proximity to nightlife and other attractions. The area itself is primarily residential with scattered shops and retail locations throughout.  The main road that runs through Riverside is East Putnam Avenue, where various shopping plazas sit.  The area is serviced by the Riverside train station of the New Haven line on the Metro North Railroad.  It is also located right off of Interstate 95, making it very accessible for inhabitants.  

The neighborhood is very quiet, and has a community-based feeling.  Since 1942, the “Fair For All,” a charity fundraising event, has been held at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church here.  It has also become a coveted place to live for celebrities and influential figures from a variety of arenas for decades.  Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill and former NHL player Marc Staal live here.  Tiki Barber, the former NFL running back, calls Riverside home as well.
