Redding Water Damage and Fire Damage
Located in Fairfield County, the area that includes the town of Redding was initially settled by Europeans in 1639 by Roger Ludlow. The town was initially named Reading after a village in Berkshire, England; however, Congress approved its first US Post Office in 1809 and named the town Redding. The area includes several parks with numerous scenic spots and trails for hikers, horseback riders, and cyclists. The Putnam Memorial State Park and Mark Twain Library are located within a short drive from Redding.
The Redding Board of Selectmen meets on the third Monday of each month at the Town Hall Hearing Room at 100 Hill Road at 7 pm. The next meeting is planned for March 17th. Subsequent meetings and additional events are posted on the town’s website.
The Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton has an active program with weekly and monthly activities planned for kids of all ages. Spring registration for Baseball is now open. The season begins the week of April 21st and runs through June 7th, depending on the weather. The club also offers after-school programs on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:45 to 5:30 pm. Check out their leadership programs for High schoolers and middle school-age teens.
