Our owner, Ben Bamdad, has been working with SERVPRO for four years with additional background experience in general contracting and a license in real estate. He has a Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering bringing an essential scientific perspective to our projects.
As a firm we are WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) certified, with several of our technicians holding ASD (Advances Structural Drying), Mold, and Bio hazard certifications. Our staff is trained similar to our technicians, meaning everyone understands the language. So, working with insurance adjusters is much more effective and timelier. SERVPRO is the best! These rains caused a leak in my ceiling, creating a flood in my home. I didn't even know, as I was at work whil my home was flooding! Everything was wet and ruined, I didn't know what to do. I looked up natural disaster companies online and SERVPRO of Torrance popped up, so I decided to call and ask what they could do for me. I told them the circumstance and they came out right away to inspect the damage. My notepad that I write my to-do list on was even ruined but they gave me a SERVPRO one for free, how sweet! They explained the damage to me and what they needed to do to fix it, along with the price and materials. Within a few weeks the work was done. I was so impressed, the water was everywhere but they managed to clean it up well. And it was a reasonable price. Thanks SERVPRO for the work!
My business' bathroom grew mold over time due to faulty plumbing and it was necessary that it be removed for my employee's and customer's safety. I contacted SERVPRO, finding them through a fellow business friend who encountered the same problem before and contracted them to fix their place. I was very happy with their work. Mold grew in my bathroom and I was told I needed it fixed before I could sell my home. I called SERVPRO and their guys came out and inspected the mold, gave me a fair estimate of cost and did the job just like they said. Very reliable service, thank you SERVPRO!

We had a pipe break in the wall of an upstairs bathroom. I filed a claim with my insurance company and they alerted SERVPRO of Torrance. Their dispatcher contacted me within 45 minutes of filing the claim. She said they would have a technician at our location in about 2 hours. When Ricky arrived he inspected the damage, set about marking off the damaged areas, set up containment plastic and then deployed air movers and de-humidifiers. Over the next several days he returned each day to inspect and demolish the damaged drywall and flooring. During the drying time I heard from their dispatcher, Philana, daily. She was very professional and caring. I would certainly call upon their services again if we ever have another catastrophe of this sort.
I didn't have much knowledge in recovery services because that is not my line of work. I was pretty confused what to do when told to hire a company to restore my home after a flood. I chose SERVPRO and they were able to inform me about every step of the process and what my home needed to be restored. They did great work too, I will definitely be hitting them up for any future restoration needs.
