Mount Hermon Cleanup and Restoration

I had bought a cool vintage dresser that came from a smoker's house and after many months of airing it out, the cigarette smoke smell still lingered. Dropped it off at SERVPRO where it spent some time in their ozonater and just picked it up yesterday. No more smoke smell!

I own several companies in Santa Cruz and one of our staff members tested positive for COVID.  I wanted to clean the offices, trucks and work areas the person who tested positive used or entered to keep my employees safe.  I needed to do this ASAP to keep the companies running and employees working.

I reached out to SERVPRO via their website and asked for help.  This was on a holiday evening (late at night) and by 7 AM the next morning I had a response from the SERVPRO team!! Wow.....that was fast service I thought.  It got better!!

I worked with multiple SERVPRO office staff members for the next several hours and by 10:30 AM I was meeting their cleaning staff at my offices to get started.  The cleaning crew was on time, prepared, professional, and had all the materials and personal protective equipment and know how to get the job done safely.

I was down only one day because SERVPRO came in and saved the day.  I don't write reviews; this is my first one ever.  That's how good they were.

We had a leak in our bathroom that started the night of the lightning storms that sparked the CZU fires. SERVPRO was on the job quickly and very diligent in checking their equipment every day and adjusting things to dry out the bathroom and adjoining bedroom carpet, hallway hardwood floors, and drywall in 3 different rooms. They were easy to work with when we had to evacuate, and back on the job when we returned.

I was amazed at SERVPRO.  But first I have to say Kat Lund in the office was the beginning of my wonderful experience.  She was kind and friendly and informative when I was scared, angry, sad and not knowing what to do next she helped me through.  Dealing with State Farm is not fun, still isn't, but she was there for me.  And when I was not quite happy with the first time SERVPRO came to my house (which was very unusual because of everything I heard about them) They came back, Kat in the office listened to me, and I was astonished that they came back. And I could then say this was the cleanest my house has ever been.  The integrity of the company was refreshing!!!!  And finding cookies on my doorstep was just what I needed.  Thank you SERVPRO for helping me through a very difficult time in my life!!!!

Being far from Capitola made it difficult to keep informed. Tony & Vince were great at explain things to us by phone and keeping us posted in general, but I'd love more communication/information to be available about the job on a web portal. Pictures, work performed, recommendations, etc. would be very helpful.
