The city of Johnson is located off I-49 between the cities of Fayetteville and Springdale. Johnson is part of the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas metropolitan statistical area. The population and building boom have driven a 46% growth in population from 2000 to 2010, according to the census. With this population growth, the need for water damage restoration has increased also.
Mining lime and the Johnson Mill area features early settlers took advantage of to build an economy for the community. In 1887 a post office was opened in the community of Johnson. Johnson incorporated as a city in 1961 to provide utility services to the community.
The 2000 census shows a population of 2,319 people and 928 households in the city of Johnson. The population has grown to 3,609 people and 1,526 households as of the 2020 census. The city covers 3.65 square miles.
As with most of Northwest Arkansas, trails are a well-liked feature in Johnson. The nearly three-mile long Clear Creek Trail is part of the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Regional Greenway. Clear Creek connects Scull Creek Trail to Lake Fayetteville Park. The Razorback Greenway is a 36 mile trail that connects north Bentonville to Fayetteville.

Wright’s Barbecue is a family-owned Barbecue company specializing in Prime Brisket, Delicious Ribs, Pork, chicken and house made sausage and of course bacon burnt ends.
